Mumbai:
After TV channel Set Max sacked anchor Mandira Bedi on charges of getting “intolerably old and unappealing”, it was the turn of beauticians and designers to refuse to work for her. “She is certainly getting old, and not only cricket, she needs to be removed altogether from TV,” says noted beautician Shahnaz Hussain.
Bedi, 72 years of age, has been a familiar face on Set Max on cricket shows for the last few years. Despite getting older and older, the channel persevered with her urge to anchor the shows. It is not hidden from the public that she has used unfair means to look fairer and younger, and has a long history of faking her age through fake certificates. But she has failed the test of time and the channel has finally ousted her, with an idea to bring in fresh and more attractive faces.

Health and cosmetics experts argue that this pic was taken when Mandira was actually 65 years of age
Reportedly, Mandira is now moving from place to place to find beauticians for her makeup. She last wore makeup the day before Set Max announced her eviction, and by now, she looks over 80. Gay fashion designer Rohit Bal’s boyfriend Rohit Bachcha says, “What was being whispered till now has come out in open with the channel’s decision. Now it has given the license to everyone to publicly agree that yeah, she is no more young.”
We also talked to cricket experts about how much they would miss Mandira during IPL. Renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle said, “Well personally I would miss her lack of knowledge of cricket. Remember the first time when she tried commentary during an India-Australia match, and Australia were batting, and she didn’t understand why there were just two guys on the field in yellow whereas there were eleven in blue!”

Mandira is 72 years old? r u mad?
yeah we are mad
we write nonsense as you can see. And sometimes we resort to unfair means like faking people's ages to keep ourselves going. All in good humour, as you can see.
