“We don’t need no education,” dropout tells Kapil Sibal in open letter against Right to Education

Dear Mr Minister for Human Resource Derailment,

This world is hypocrite!!! … Sample this: Smoking takes away 5 minutes of your life and the government asks shopkeepers to carry a statutory warning …. but school takes away 8 hours daily and government (I mean “you”) is giving us the right to education  … How funny!! You should ask schools to also come with statutory warnings.

“We don’t need no education”

School is a waste of time. You don’t trust me?? Ask Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Subhash Chandra. Go ask the ghost of Henry Ford. What they all did was drop out of school and college. But they went on to make billions. The right to education is like a waste of resources!! Ask our own Mayawati! She knows the plight of kids so well, no matter what you say, Mr Sibal!!

Schools were always there and will be. Mayawati and Lalu Yadav (and my parents, brothers, pets and I) know how hard it is to attend school and how boring it is. They know what one goes through at school. That’s why Mayawati made parks for the kids to play or rather roam around and she has also put her party symbol in the parks for their amusement.

The time saved from school is the time earned, as life is already short. What the kids of this great country need is Right to Think, and not Right to Rote, which the teachers teach us. We should always remember the words of the great Pink Floyd as some of our great politicians do “We don’t need no education”. So Mr Sibal, leave the kids alone!!!
