Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has landed in yet another controversy. An advertisement by the Gujarat Bharatiya Janata Party portrays the chief minister as a member of a rock band. Published in a local daily, the advertisment has been given by BJP’s Amreli district unit President Bharat Kamdar who quite recently came up with another such advertisement depicting Modi as Lord Krishna. As Modi stands with his head held high, the advertisement also shows BJP President Nitin Gadkari, veteran BJP leader L K Advani and BJP Vice-President Purushottam Rupala standing besides him with a huge crowd painted in ‘bhagwa’ colour in the background.

With elections in the state later this year, this ad is created especially to woo young voters in the state. That the ad is meant for the elections is clear from the fact that the rock band has been named “Mat Talika” which roughly means ‘list of votes’ in English. The Congress has already protested against the ad. Young Rahul Gandhi said the name of the rockband and the poster, both are very similar to Metallica, and so BJP should be sued for plagiarism.
LOL XD. All looking great, especially Purushottam Rupala and Advani XD. MAT TALICA FTW\m/
Also “Young Rahul Gandhi” is a neat observer ;D
