Narendra Modi to visit India in December for two days before heading for Mars

Vishal Dayama, November 21, 2014

After visiting 174 countries out of 196 countries, Narendra Modi has decided to visit India again. He would become the first Prime Minister to visit his own country after six-odd months. Modi, who was unanimously elected by himself as the Prime Minister of India, has been touring the whole world since June. He even broke Pratibha Patil’s record of visiting the most number of countries.

“It’s all about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”

Narendra Modi has been meeting delegates from different countries and asking them to be a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was started to make India clean and seems like Modi is doing it by staying away from India (no joke here).

Now since there are only 20-odd countries to visit, Narendra Modi is planning to visit Mars to strengthen ties with living beings surviving on that planet, if at all there are any. He has been in contact with ISRO for some days and looks like his deal will get sealed sooner rather than later, a close aide told us. This will not only make him the first human to land on Mars but also the first Prime Minister of any country to land there.

Visa on arrival for Martians

Modi is expected to announce visas for Martians after his arrival on Mars. The idea is to establish a cordial and strategic partnership with Mars, where the Martians will use their visas to visit India every now and then to help out with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In return, Modi plans to promise a visit to Mars once every two years, giving the Martians much-needed press coverage back on Earth. Mars has been desperately craving for some publicity ever since Interstellar switched the focus of the public from the Red Planet to Saturn in emphatic fashion.

“Avid traveller. Astronaut. Prime Minister of India.”

After travelling extensively the last six months, Modi has now fittingly updated his Twitter bio, adding “Avid traveller” before “Prime Minister of India”. We suspect that “Astronaut” might also be added very soon to that bio.
